The Featherman Gamebird Automatic Feather Pluckers is a Drum Style Feather Picker.

Removing feathers from birds has never been this easy! Simply scald chickens, then drop 4 or 5 birds into the tub. In 20 seconds or less the birds will be picked clean! No pin feathers, no backache, just excellent results! 

1. Scald the Birds with the Featherman Scalder
2. Turn the Gamebird Plucker on
3. Drop the birds in
4. Turn on the water valve
5. Turn off the Gamebird Plucker
6. Turn off the water
7. Remove the birds

That's it! There's nothing more to it! The Featherman Gamebird Automatic Feather Plucker is made of high density, food grade plastic for years of rugged use.  Standard features include the spray ring, feather exhaust chute, and a knee-high toggle on/off switch. The drive train is powered by a 1 hp motor mated to a 10:1 speed reducer for an effective 10 hp of torque.  The Featherman PRO feather plucker handles birds from 1 to 50 pounds. Simply drop up to 50 pounds of scalded birds into the tub and let the Featherman do the work. In 20 to 30 seconds birds are squeaky clean! No pin feathers remain. 

The Featherman has a 22" tub diameter, stands 36" high and has a 17 1/2" by 24" footprint. It uses a 1 hp motor and 10:1 speed reducer (both U.S. Made) giving an effective strength of 10 hp. The tub and motor housing are constructed of tough, UV-stabilized, food-grade plastic.
