Unlike setting incubators, hatchers usually operate at slightly different temperature and humidity settings to obtain optimum hatch. With five hatching drawers, the 1550 Hatcher will hold the complete setting of the GQF Model 1502 Sportsman Incubator. For expanding operations, the 1550 can be matched with up to three GQF Model 1500 Professional Incubators. The 1550 Hatcher can be used to set eggs, but they will have to be turned by hand. The GQF Model 1502 is equipped with the Model #3256 Pre-Set Electronic Thermostat. This means that reading and regulating the temperature and humidity can be done with simply a touch of a button. The accurate temperature control will also lead to getting better hatch rates.

The GQF Model 1550 Digital Hatcher comes with a backup thermostat - Model #3122 Wafer Thermostat. This back-up thermostat will act as a secondary when the main electronic thermostat fails. This will prevent that you lose your eggs due to the failure of the main thermostat.

Monitors the turning and temperature systems every second to keep it updated and to share this data with you via the digital display.

This provides the critical humidity necessary in the incubator in order to create the perfect incubation environment. You will need to refill the water pan every 2 to 3 days depending on your humidity needs. You can purchase the automatic humidifier as an optional extra.
