Universities and Laboratories Will Appreciate the GQF Hovabator Model 2365

For those that would like to purchase an egg incubator that is not created solely for farm use, the smaller GQF Hovabator Model 2365 could be exactly what you’re seeking. This is a small, efficient incubator that works well for hobbyists and teachers, but it can also be used in laboratories and university classrooms for research and experiments. It doesn’t take up a lot of room, since it only measures about eighteen inches by eighteen inches, and its about ten inches tall. You can fit just over forty eggs in the incubator, unless you’re working with quail eggs. This model will hold up to 120 quail eggs, but you don’t have to fill it completely with any type of egg for it to work properly.

It comes complete with a thermostat so that you can be sure your eggs are always getting the appropriate temperature. Eggs require turning three times per day, but you can also get the automatic egg turner to take that responsibility out of your hands. This is an easy and inexpensive way to further your hatchery hobby or study egg hatching in a controlled environment. There is even a window in the top of the GQF Hovabator Model 2365 so that you can watch the entire process as it unfolds before you.

All you need to run the GQF Hovabator Model 2365 is a 110-volt power plug. It weighs around eight pounds, so you can easily cart it wherever you need it to be. If you have to switch classrooms each year, you’ll never have to worry about moving your incubator safely and easily. Best of all, it comes with a one-year manufacturer’s warranty, so you can quickly and easily get it repaired if any of the parts break or malfunction. This is an excellent incubator and would serve you well.

Excellent value. Solid construction, very easy to set up and use. The windows are a good size which helps little ones like my 4 year old watch the action. The dual water areas are a good design and beats what I have used previously. Another good feature is the red plastic plugs you can remove to control humidity. Worked as advertised. The temp control is a little counter intuitive, going to the right decreases temp and counterclockwise increases temp. You get used to it though. Overall, for the money, great value and a great product. We hatched (6) mallards this weekend and have another (16) to go. Might even round up some more eggs from the property and hatch more as my son is really enjoying watching them grow. (Posted on 11/23/11)

My first time hatching, put 34 eggs in and 32 hatched, yes the thermostat did stress me out a bit though, the temp in the bator fluctuates depending on your temp in your house, it was a bit irritating but worked out in the end. (Posted on 11/23/11)
