The Featherman Pro Makes Plucking Easier than Ever

The Featherman Pro is a drum style feather picker that will make your plucking tasks easier than ever. It is constructed from high density, food grade plastic, so you will be sure to get several years of use out of it. Once you realize just how easy it is to use the Featherman Pro, you will be thrilled with the knowledge that you will have yours for quite a while. The features are what make this particular model so easy to use, with a spray ring, a feather exhaust chute, and a power switch that is right at knee height. The drum can handle up to fifty pounds of chicken, which equals four or five birds, depending on the size.

The instructions couldn’t be easier, either. All you must do is scald the birds you need plucked, turn on the Featherman Pro, drop in the chickens, turn on the water, and wait the thirty seconds it takes for the plucker to remove all of the feathers. You won’t have to deal with any residual feathers, because the Featherman Pro will get every last one of them--even the pesky pin feathers.

The Featherman Pro features a one horsepower motor and 119 plucking fingers, as well as easy-clean features. The plastic is sturdy and UV-resistant, so you can count on it being around for several years to come. The tub measures twenty-two inches, so there’s no chance of spillage. The whole plucker takes up a very minimal amount of room, especially for the amount of chicken that it will pluck in such a short amount of time. You will need a space of about twenty-five by twenty-eight inches. Since it weighs one hundred twenty-five pounds, you will need to find a good home for it and leave it there, though it’s not impossible to move if you need to.
